Sharing the Gospel around the Globe.

Adjustments: It's always fascinating to write newsletters. They help you take pause and evaluate your life a month at a time. I know as I write this you're probably in your own season of adjustment and maybe even transition to what lies ahead.

Reflecting on what has grounded me in this time is that while the whole world seems to have flipped upside down, God still has the same amount of control that He had before. A verse that has encouraged me greatly is Psalms 32:8

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you."

He is still instructing, teaching and guiding even in times like these. There is so much purpose in every single day no matter what they look like. His eye is always on us!

Updates on Panama: Panama is under a pretty heavy quarantine. This includes a complete airport shutdown until minimum June 1st, when things will be reassessed. Their kind of quarantine is one where women are only allowed to leave for 2 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For men, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. No one is allowed to leave on Sundays. They can only go out in the window allotted to them via the ending numbers on their ID card. This has caused a lot of rioting and looting. Please join me in prayer for the country of Panama. That God's peace would cover the entire population as they hold out for the reopening of the country. In all of this, many are seeking out answers and the Church has been able to extend comfort and guidance to many.

Prayer Points

  • Spiritual and physical protection for Panama
  • Wisdom and growth in discipleship
  • Small group studies
  • Wisdom in upcoming decisions.
  • Grace during life's many transitions

So what do things look like for the month of May? Small groups and discipleship are continuing virtually. I'm also excited to share that I've been collaborating with a ministry partner with their global impact team. It's been neat to both learn more and speak into something I'm so passionate about! I like to think of life as a toolbox. You learn so many things through life and in all kinds of situations. Sometimes you ask, "how could this be useful in the future?" It's been neat to watch God bring out old tools and put them to good use! May God use this season to equip us for the next steps to come:).

Thank you for your continued prayers and support! It goes without saying that behind every successful missionary is a group of passionate believers encouraging them onward. Thank you for sticking with me and being that for me!

In Christ,
