Dear Prayer Partners

Dear Prayer Partners,

Not that I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. (Philippians 4:17)

Jeanne and I are eager to be flying to Liberia on Feb. 27th. Our barrels have been sent off, the tickets have been made ready and we will be picked up the airport and transported to our home in Gbarnga.

Jeanne will be learning some Liberian cooking skills and starting Kpelle language study. These two areas will also help her in learning a new culture. I am thankful for the time I have ahd at home and being refreshed and minsitered to from God's Word. It will be exciting to begin visiting our church plants and helping them to grow from God's Word. We have 10 students from our program that ended in September, 2017 awaiting their graduation. It is a tremendous acomplishment fro them and I trust they will soon be scattered througout Liberia teaching, preaching, and healing as they try to follow the actions of Jesus.

We have 10 other students who have been unable to pay their tuition and will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremonies. The ability of these students to raise their funds has been difficult due to the overall poor financial situation in Liberia. Please consider what you could do through our MPA Program to help these students reach their goals.

My 2000 4Runner needs so many reparis that I have decided to purchase a Land Cruiser. This is the best vehicle in Liberia for off-road use, especially in the rainy season. It will also be good for transporting our students to their clinical sites because it can accommodate a lot of people. My home church as well as others have generously contributed to this purchase but we still need an additional $8,000. We have established a Vehicle Fund and ask for you to prayerfully consider contrinuting to this fund to help us secure adequate transportation.

We thank you for your faithful prayer and financial support without which we would not be able to serve the Lord in Liberia.

Serving Jesus,

Steve & Jeanne Trexler
