Greetings from Uganda!
Greetings from Uganda! We returned in July, and we have been busy getting resettled into our home and into our ministry.
We have been meeting with some of our nearby church people on Sunday mornings in our carport since churches are closed. Jim preached about the storms of life for our first Sunday meeting, and God provided the downpour as an illustration. It’s been so nice to sing and worship with them again! We look forward to being able to having everyone back together again!
We had mentioned on Facebook that we were needing to build a bore hole (well) at our garden so we wouldn’t need to have water trucked in. We praise the Lord that He provided more than enough! Thank you to each one of you that contributed! We also need dorms for our secondary school, so we began that project as well with the extra money that was provided. If any of you would like to contribute towards finishing the dorms, you may do so at Grace Christian School.
When it was time to travel back to Uganda, we were already tired at the beginning of our trip. As usual, God knew exactly what we needed. Our trip to Brussels was delayed a full day. As we were about to board our flight from Chicago to Brussels, we were told we were not able to take that flight since we weren’t allowed to be in Brussels for a full 24 hours. So we were given a night in a nice hotel in Chicago where we had a great night’s sleep before continuing our journey the next morning, AND we got some of our money back due to the delay. Isn’t God amazing?!
Thank you once again for joining us in our work through your prayers and financial support! May God be glorified through each of us as we continue His work together!
