Sharing the Gospel around the Globe.

Pruetts In Peru

 Dear Co-laborers,

It seems the older we get, the faster December and Christmas come and go. This month was a whirlwind, but it also gave us time to reflect upon all the blessings God has bestowed upon us. We look forward to sharing with you all that God has done through the last month of 2020.

God reminded us at the beginning of the month that He is still working, despite the fear and panic spreading across the globe. Our pastor, Papo, of Refugee Baptist Church in Lima, was able to baptize his nephew in the river of Huaycán. People are still getting saved, lives are still being changed, and our God never rests.

Patrick was able help with a large scale Christmas Bible club in the poorer areas in Pensacola. They gave away gifts, candy, and the gospel. The gospel was preached clearly and several children accepted Christ as their Savior. It was a wonderful time of ministry for Patrick.

Things continue to ever change in Peru. Over the month, Peru has closed the door to the UK and all of Europe. The suspicion is that the US may be next. If they close their doors to the US again, we are not sure what that will do to our plans of returning by March. Please pray with us that this will not be the case.

Peru has also instituted a new travel policy.  Anyone entering the country, regardless of citizenship, must quarantine for 14 days. If you do not have a home or approved lodging, you must stay at the government’s own designated quarantine facility. The details of this decree have not all been ironed out so we will have more info, hopefully, later on.

Peru has also not been able to secure a vaccine. This has caused them to turn to China for a possible solution.

We continue to try and raise support through all the madness, and God is, as always, showing Himself faithful. Many new opportunities are being brought to our attention. We know God will get us there in the end in His timing. Please pray with us that the Lord irons out all of these issues and details so that we can finally return to Peru.

Please feel free to contact us via email at or through our Facebook page at “Pruetts in Peru” or our newest addition, Instagram at Pruetts_in_Peru. Most importantly, we are thankful for your support. We cannot do what God has asked us to do without you. Thank you!!
