Special Prayer Requests

As many of you know, Panamá still has a national quarantine every weekend. Our hope is that it will be lifted by March, so please pray for God’s will concerning the quarantine. In the meantime, we continue to use Zoom for our Sunday services and our Bible studies. 

It is clear to us that there would be many benefits if IBCV had its own place to use seven days a week. On Saturday, January 30, Clip had a video call with one of the major developers of Costa Verde. This man, Juan Carlos, said he would talk to all of the developers in Costa Verde, so that we can be better informed about property. We hope to have more information soon.

Please pray that God would provide some land or a space in a local shopping center for the church. We know from both God’s Word and from experience that nothing is impossible with God. We are doing what we know to do in order to be well-informed and to find a place to meet for the long term, and it is exciting to watch and wait and see what God will do. If He provides a place for our church, it will be extremely evident that He is the One who provided. 

Finally, please pray that we will have wisdom to know what to do concerning meeting in the short term once the quarantine is lifted while we look and wait for a long-term solution. We trust that God has a solution for this need as well.
