The Suddeth Family Ministry Update - January 2017
Ministry in the Mountains Among the Ngöbe-Buglé
Taking the gospel to people is an amazing adventure! At times, part of that adventure is that we get to enjoy parts of God’s creation like this in the mountains of the Comarca Ngöbe-Buglé. How incredible!
Pastor Alkilino Tugri was one of our guides. Please pray for Alkilino as he pastors the church in Tugri and works to reach his people and make disciples in the surrounding villages.
At the time this picture was taken, three hours of hiking lay ahead of us before we would reach the village of Cerro Venado. It was worth it! We visited homes, gave aways solar-powered audio Bibles, and helped establish plans for follow-up ministry. There are numerous villages similar to Cerro Venado in these mountains. The Ngöbe-Buglé people who live in these villages need the gospel, solid churches, and well-trained pastors to guide them.
We want to give a special thanks to missionaries Russ Turner (who organized the trip) and Van Ferguson (who brought a group from our home church.)
Jared Redden and Kayla Harmon were with us to begin the new year. They helped us with social media and did ministry in a local church.
Van and Noah Ferguson, Nick Goss, and Jack Wise were a great group of guys for the trek we did among the Ngöbe-Buglé.
• We are developing solid relationships with national pastors.
• We are frequently presented with new ministry opportunities - pray we will have wisdom to know when to say "yes" and when to say "no."
• We are still waiting on the final papers for our car.
