The Urgent Need

Arce Blog Image

God has provided some incredible things these last 2 months. We recently received the funds to purchase a Bus for our church. The generators arrived safely in Venezuela last month. And we also have our tickets purchased to Venezuela on November 28th (Thanks Jeff!). There's a few other things we want to mention, and I'll share them towards the end of this letter.

But here's our MOST URGENT REQUEST. We have 79 boxes full with clothes, shoes and medicine and 10 boxes with non-perishable food items. We're lacking some more food items to fill the remaining 11 boxes.

arce oct 19 5These boxes MUST BE SHIPPED OUT BY NOVEMBER 1ST (Next Week).
In order for these boxes to arrive in time to give them out for Christmas, we must ship them out by next week. We're still in the bargaining process, but we've averaged the final cost at around $60-70 per box.

We already had $1000 given towards this need last week, plus $400 given today. The whole amount we needed was $7000 to ship all the boxes by next week. We now have $1400, with only $5,600 left to raise.

If you would like to help us, please send your one-time donation by clicking on the link below and email us at danarce@gmail.com to inform us the amount.

We will post the donations as they arrive. Please share this need with others.

arce oct 19 1It has been an incredible 2 months of road trips and family time spent together. God has truly blessed our time back in the states. We've had so many friends love on us in ways I can't even begin to describe.

Our kids have enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones on the way. We've made new amazing memories. So far, we've been in Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, New York City, Illinois and Iowa. We've travelled over 4500 miles so far, and the one thing our kids and us have said often is: "THE POWER IS STILL ON!" We've really loved having electricity all day and all night. We've gone out to Walmart trips at 2 or 3 in the morning just because we could, and it was safe to do so... What a treat!

We have 5 more weeks before we depart to Venezuela

  • We have 6 more meetings left in TN, NC, OH and KY
  • We will be leaving next week to Miami to load the boxes and ship them.
  • We'll be leaving from Atlanta to Panama on Nov 28th.

We'll be leaving from Panama to Venezuela on Nov 29th.
(PRAISE GOD... we got direct flights into Venezuela)

As we arrive to the end of this newsletter, we want to take a minute and thank each church we've been able to visit (in the short time we had). You've made our trip so memorable. I know without a shadow of a doubt, our family needed this down time to refocus and power up. Not only that, we also want to thank each person, family and church that has taken the time to pray for our family. We've sensed the presence and power of God more than ever before. And last but not least, I want to thank all the families that hosted us during this trip. You made us feel at home away from home.
