Update from Jess & Anne Kerley - Project Partners
Dear Friends and Supporters:
We want to thank each one of you for your prayers and support. Without that we would not be able to do our projects. We hope you each had a blessed summer. It was a very hot one for Tennessee. This June we spent some time in Nevada with our son and his wife, Boone and Kat. We saw some of God’s beauty in the western part of our country and enjoyed spending time with our kids. Leaving Nevada, we met our daughter and her husband and family at New Life Ranch in Oklahoma to do a ministry project. Stacey was the nurse for the week at camp and Jess
and Scott worked on some projects there. Austin, their 14 year old, went to camp and Anne enjoyed taking care of our 21 month old grandson, Thomas while they worked.
In July Jess, Anne and Gary Steele put new lights up in the Mile Straight Baptist Church gym. They also fixed some ductwork in the gym and fixed an a/c unit there. The end of July Anne’s mom, Inge, got very sick with gall bladder surgery and sepsis infection. But the Lord spared her life and we got to enjoy her longer as well. Then on August 15th Anne and Inge were involved in an auto accident but both recovered well. We praise the Lord for that. Mom has stayed with us since her hospital stay to recover and allow Anne to assist her.
In August Jess installed a 2 ton mini split for a local missionary. Jess and Gary Steele also put a unit in a local church that has a very successful Spanish ministry where many come to know Jesus each year. In September Jess repaired 2 HVAC units for a local radio station who is doing a great work for the Lord. In addition, thanks to your giving, we were able to help 2 missionaries financially in their building new churches in Venezuela and Peru.
Upcoming projects include a project at New Life Ranch in Oklahoma as well as a project in
Mississippi for a missionary there on their home. Also some HVAC and electrical work will be done at a new ministry for women saved from sex trafficking. Please pray for us in these endeavors and that the Lord will be glorified in each and every project !!!
