Sharing the Gospel around the Globe.

Update from the Grenade Family

The Covid-19 situation in Mauritius is very much like in other countries of the world.  However, as the vaccination campaign progresses, the authorities are now relaxing confinement measures for the country. Tomorrow will be the first time since the middle of March that we will be able to meet together corporately as a church congregation.  While we are thankful for the ability to meet online and for the far-reaching exposure that technology affords us, we will be glad to see each other again tomorrow.

We would like to express our gratitude to several of you who have sent mail to us during this past year. In the past few weeks, we have received mail that was sent to us over a year ago. There were anniversary cards, birthday cards, sympathy cards, etc.  Many of the cards contained a personal note from several of you. We are sorry that we were unable to acknowledge receiving them until now.

We were finally able to move into our new house on June 11th. There are still several minor jobs that wtill need to be completed. These have become a source of frustration for us, as the contractors are not showing up to complete them. Please pray for us, as we need wisdom to know how best to addresss this issue in a Christ-like manner. We do not want to jeopardize the opportunities we have to share the Gospel for the sake of minor jobs. Still, we would like them to be completed.

We would also appreciate your prayers for us, as we make relationships with our new neighbors. Pray for opportunities to share the Gospel with them and pray for us that we will be bold to use these opportunities to tell them about the person and work of Jesus.

Our children resume school this upcoming week. Havva is starting kindergarten but Liam, Adrien and Ashlen are all transferring to a new school. We would appreciate your prayers for them that they will adapt well to their new surroundings. ALl in all, they have taken the new of going to a new school well enough, but Liam seems to be particiulary nervous about the change.

We appreciate your prayers for us and your continued support of our ministry.

Pascal & Becky Grenade
