The Church Library Project

This month our Library Project Fund furnished two churches in Yucatán with a start-up library for their church membership. Each church received a $500 grant to get their library started.

The purpose of this project is to furnish churches and believers with books that will be inspirational and educational in their Christian life. Church members will be able to check out books that are both instructional and encouraging as they strive to grow in the Lord.

This project is a result of a conversation that I had last year with a group of young people from Iglesia Bautista El Camino de la Verdad in Valladolid, Yucatán. When I asked how I could help them, they responded by saying that they wanted a church library which could help them grow spiritually.

I was both blessed and challenged by the desire of these young people to have resources for their spiritual development. The offerings of those who gave have made this possible.

This will be an ongoing project that we will continue to promote. We want to help two more churches before the end of this year, but we will need your help to do so.

Each start-up set of books cost $500 dollars. If you would like to give a donation to this project, you can do so by donating to Project Yucatan: The Library Project Fund. You can send a check to:

Global Faith • PO Box 3326 • Chattanooga, TN 37404

You can also give online. Just specify in the notes section that your gift is for the church library project.

Thank you for helping us help others. We are blessed to have you as a partner in our ministry.
