6 voices from 4 different churches met for 1 purpose: to praise the name of the Lord our God!
This group, led by Roy Seals & hosted by Dan & Carmen Rogers and Manuel & Carmen Verde, had the privilege of singing in 5 different church venues over the course of 6 days spent in Merida, Mexico.
"I loved the comradery of this group and the willingness to stay focused on the end goal and work together for the glory of Christ."
"I am thankful that the Lord provided us each with our own talents that we can use for projects like this. I never thought growing up I'd be singing on the mission field - even if it was only in a short term capacity."
This was Brian Goldsmith's third trip to Mexico! As the guitarist, he was an essential member of the team! Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Easley, SC is Brian's home church where he plays, sings, and co-teaches a Sunday school class.
"I enjoyed working with the team and using our talents to minister to and worship with the people of Yucatán."
This was a trip full of "firsts" for Susan Street. Her first mission trip, first flight, and first time out of the United States! Susan attends Mile Straight Baptistwhere she sings with the choir and praise team.
"I enjoyed the worship services and how you could feel the presence of the Lord even though we didn't speak the same language."
"When the body of Christ works in unity as He intended us to, so much can be accomplished for His glory."
"I was blessed to be able to interact more with our missionaries and see more of their ministries. Singing in Spanish was a challenge but so much fun!"
